About Boy Meets WorldMike Mason is a developer at ThoughtWorks, where he enjoys being a professional code monkey. ThoughtWorks do highly technical, interesting stuff, counting industry luminaries such as Martin Fowler amongst their number. If you’re a talented developer looking to work with a bunch of smart, motivated people you should check the website for vacancies (we’re hiring!). Boy Meets World is Mike’s place to share his thoughts on life, the universe, and everything – most stuff has a technical slant though. He’s pretty much just trying to keep up with the Joneses – see the other blog links to the right. The website is powered by Blosxom, a funky little blogging engine written in Perl. The whole thing is extensible with plugins, helping add calendars and so on. Mike statically generates the site – Blosxom does this out-of-the box – and uploads it to his ISP. Mike has chosen to licence his blog using a Creative Commons License. He basically picked the “require attribution”, “no commercial use” and “share alike” options. The views and opinions expressed on this site are those of the author, not necessarily those of his employer. This weblog is badge compliant: |
