About

Mike Mason is Head of Technology for ThoughtWorks, where he is variously described as a developer, technical lead, architect, coach, and most recently, “executive.” ThoughtWorks does highly technical, interesting stuff, counting industry luminaries such as Martin Fowler amongst their number. If you’re a talented developer, analyst, QA person or project manager looking to work with a bunch of smart, motivated people you should join us (we’re always hiring!).

This website is Mike’s place to share his thoughts on life, the universe, and everything – most stuff has a technical slant though. He’s pretty much just trying to keep up with the Joneses – see the other blog links to the right.

Mike has chosen to license his blog using a Creative Commons License. He basically picked the “require attribution”, “no commercial use” and “share alike” options. If you share or adapt his work, please credit him by name and link back to mikemason.ca. The views and opinions expressed on this site are those of the author, not necessarily those of his employer.

The image at the top of the page was shot in Canmore, Alberta using Mike’s Nikon D80 (18-70 kit lens @ 50mm, f/6.3, 1/125 sec). You can see more of Mike’s photography on Flickr.
